2006 Summer Russian Immersion Programs

One-month summer immersion programs for only $2,100 round-trip airfare from New York* to St. Petersburg included $1,300 without airfare in June, July, and August, 2006 One-month programs are also available during the academic year

 

2006 Semester Russian Immersion Programs

Four-month Winter/Fall immersion programs for only $5,400 round-trip airfare from New York* to St. Petersburg included $4,500 without airfare in January and September, 2006

 

Various Russian language programs on individual basis

• Perfect your conversational Russian and deepen your knowledge of Russian culture
  

• Live in a private room with a Russian family, not in a dormitory; breakfast included
  

• Earn up to 6 credits for a one-month program
  

• Round-trip airfare between New York and St. Petersburg (connections from other U.S. cities can be arranged)
  

• Intensive grammar, conversation and culture course taught by highly qualified instructors (beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels)
  

• Russian volunteers to assist the students
  

• Extracurricular activities such as subject lectures, concerts, theater performances, and films
  

• Sightseeing excursions to St. Petersburg museums and palaces, including the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, etc. (one or two events weekly)
  

• Weekend excursion to Moscow and one day-trip to Novgorod (available for an additional fee)
